Setting reminders, one-off and repeating
Get a nudge in IMVICA or by email for anything you want to remember.
Your own reminder
- 1Open Reminders from the account menu.
- 2Press New reminder and say what it is for.
- 3Choose Just once, or repeat daily, weekly or monthly. You can choose things like every 2 weeks.
- 4Pick the date and time. Add a stop date, notes or a link if you like.
- 5Leave Email this to me too switched on if you want it in your inbox.
A reminder for a Planner task
- 1Open the task in the Planner.
- 2Tick the reminder you want, in IMVICA, by email or both.
- 3Choose when: on the day, a day before, three days before or a week before.
Where reminders arrive
Under the bell in the top bar and on the Notifications page. Email reminders arrive within about 15 minutes of the time you chose. Times follow your own clock, so 9am stays 9am when the clocks change.
Pausing and stopping
Repeating reminders can be paused and picked up again later from the Reminders page, or deleted when you no longer need them.
Questions this answers
- Can the Planner remind me to do something?
- Yes. When you add or edit a planner item you can ask for a reminder in IMVICA, an email, or both, and choose whether it arrives on the day, a day before, three days before or a week before. In-app reminders appear in your notifications, and you can turn email off at any time on the Reminders page.
- How do I set myself a reminder?
- Open Reminders from the account menu and press New reminder. Say what it is for, pick a date and time, and choose whether it happens once or repeats every day, week or month.
- Can a reminder repeat, for example every Tuesday?
- Yes. When you set it up, choose Repeat weekly and a Tuesday start date. You can also repeat every few days, weeks or months, add a stop date, and pause it at any time.
- Where do my reminders show up?
- Under the bell in the top bar, and on the Notifications page. If you ticked email, they arrive in your inbox too, within about 15 minutes of the time you chose.
